What this policy covers

This policy covers the Nudi Kannada website, including lessons, accounts, direct UPI payment requests, translation, speech features, and advertising. Nudi is an early learning product, so its practices may evolve. We will update this page before a material change takes effect.

Information we use

• Account and profile: when account sign-in is enabled, Supabase Auth provides Nudi with a stable user ID and basic profile details such as your name, email address, and email-verification status. Supabase handles email/password sign-in, account confirmation, recovery, and profile data. Passwords are sent through Nudi's protected same-origin endpoint directly to Supabase Auth; Nudi does not store them. If account sign-in is not configured, Nudi may use a signed guest cookie to keep progress associated with one browser.
• Learning activity: completed lessons, scores, mistakes, XP, streaks, hearts, daily-goal settings, and plan or access status.
• Direct UPI payment requests: Nudi stores the selected pass, amount, currency, Nudi payment reference, payment status, timestamps, and any UPI transaction reference (UTR) you submit for manual verification. Nudi never asks for or stores your UPI PIN, bank password, card number, or banking-app credentials.
• Technical information: our hosting and security providers may process ordinary request logs, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps, and errors.

Direct UPI payments

Payments are made directly to 7008212549@naviaxisthrough the UPI app or bank you choose. That provider processes the payment under its own privacy terms. Submitting a UTR to Nudi creates a verification request; it does not itself prove payment or unlock paid access. An authorized reviewer must match the amount, Nudi reference, and bank record before access changes. Current passes are one-time purchases, not recurring subscriptions.

Advertising and consent

Free learners may see clearly labelled, frequency-capped ads between activities or on free learning pages. Nudi does not place ads inside an active lesson, checkout, account, or administration screen, and it does not automatically refresh ads every few seconds. Clicking an ad is always optional and never affects hearts, XP, mastery, or access.

If Google AdSense is enabled, Google may process device information, IP address, cookies or similar identifiers, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads. Nudi may also enable Meta Pixel solely to measure Nudi's own marketing campaigns; Meta Pixel does not place publisher ads on this website. Optional ad personalization and Meta measurement are loaded only after the relevant consent. You can decline or change optional choices without losing the free first chapter or review access. Google and Meta process information under their own privacy terms.

Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to Nudi and other sites to select and measure ads. You can review or limit personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings and learn how Google uses information from partner sites on its partner-sites page. Where required, a Google-certified consent platform will collect the applicable consent before Google advertising loads.

Meta Business Tools may use cookies or similar technologies only after the relevant optional choice to measure Nudi's own campaigns. Nudi does not send lesson answers, UTRs, payment references, or account-security details to Meta. You can withdraw that choice using the persistent Ad choices control.

Free-form translations

When you submit English text on the Translate page, Nudi sends that text to the MyMemory service operated by Translated so it can return a Kannada machine translation. Nudi does not create a translation history or write your source sentence or result to the learner database. MyMemory may process the request under its own terms and privacy practices, so do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information.

Audio and speech

Microphone activities are opt-in: Nudi asks for browser permission only when you choose to speak. Nudi does not upload or store your lesson recordings. Speech recognition and text-to-speech use the capabilities available in your browser or device; its speech provider may process audio under that provider's own privacy policy.

You can decline microphone access and use the text or manual-answer alternative. If the browser cannot hear you confidently, the attempt does not cost a heart or change your mastery score.

AI-assisted features

When an AI-assisted explanation, review, or roleplay is available and you choose to use it, Nudi may send your prompt, relevant lesson context, selected learning preferences, and aggregate progress to the service that generates the response. Nudi removes common email addresses, phone-like numbers, and links before sending a roleplay message and does not add your saved account name, email, or account ID to the model. A name or other personal detail that you type into a roleplay may still be processed, so use a fictional name and avoid confidential information.

Raw coach messages and model replies are not written to Nudi's learner database. Nudi stores only a daily request count to enforce cost and abuse limits. Your goal, session length, focus, confidence, transliteration choice, and the timing of dismissed plan suggestions remain in your learner profile so the experience is consistent. Paid-plan suggestions use transparent, frequency-capped rules—not model profiling—and can be dismissed. Unreviewed AI output never removes hearts or determines mastery, placement, XP, streaks, league results, prices, payment verification, or account access.

Why we use information

We use this information to provide lessons, save progress, operate accounts, verify direct UPI payments, display and measure permitted advertising, understand reliability, prevent abuse, and improve learning design.

Sharing and retention

We share information only with providers needed to authenticate accounts, host Nudi, store progress, translate submitted text, provide speech or AI features you request, deliver consented advertising, measure consented marketing, secure the service, or comply with law. Payment-reference and UTR records may be kept for reconciliation, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations. Other information is kept only while it is needed for the purposes above, subject to backups and legal requirements.

Your choices

• Use account settings to review or change available Supabase Auth profile details, or request account and learning-data deletion.
• Decline microphone permission and use the text or manual-answer fallback for speech activities.
• Decline optional advertising or marketing measurement, or change your choice later through the available consent controls.
• Skip a paid pass and continue using the free first chapter and available review or recovery activities.
• Do not enter confidential information in free-form translation.
• Request access, correction, or deletion through the support or feedback channel shown in Nudi. Some payment records may need to be retained where the law requires it.
